We are one of the leading test and repair organizations for Automotive Components and understand your needs as a customer, this is why we offer unlimited mileage lifetime warranty on all our repairs or replacement units. Our warranty will also cover the repaired/replacement automotive component collection back to VCUS for further testing in the event of suspected failures. If your Automotive Component has been tested as No Fault Found and you would like a retest, we will collect this from you for free, to be returned for further testing at VCUS.
Aftercare
If you experience problems with our repair/replacement unit, then we will endeavor to resolve any failures promptly in line with our warranty process. To do this we may ask for further information about the failure, which may include but is not limited to the following:
- Fault description.
- Fault codes.
- Intermittency of the failure.
- Information related to the fitting of the repaired/replacement unit.
- Information on the diagnosis procedure carried out on the vehicle.
Our expert team is on hand to help you through any problems relating to the fitting of the repaired/replacement automotive component, diagnosis of the vehicle upon fitting of the repaired/replacement component and the warranty process of getting your repaired/replacement component returned to us.

- The organization shall be allowed to investigate, test, and rectify any failure with an automotive component that they have had interaction with and which a warranty applies.
- The organization will collect your repaired/replacement automotive component free of charge under warranty and tested in line with the organization's processes and procedures for said repaired/replacement unit.
The repaired/replacement automotive component returned under warranty shall be tested and:
- If found to be faulty in a manner caused directly by misdiagnosis or incorrect testing on the vehicle, the warranty will be void. If the component in question can be repaired, this will be chargeable, plus P+P and VAT. If the component cannot be repaired, but a replacement can be supplied, this will be chargeable plus P+P and VAT.
- If returned and deemed to be faulty by way of water ingress, the warranty will be void. If the component can be repaired, this will be chargeable, plus P+P and VAT. If the component cannot be repaired, but a replacement can be supplied, this will be chargeable, plus P+P and VAT.
- Tested and found that third-party work has been undertaken after a repair/replacement service has been supplied by VCUS, without the prior consent of VCUS, in writing to the customer, then the warranty will be void.
- If tested and found not to be faulty, then the component will be returned at the cost of normal P+P + VAT.
- If tested and found to be faulty, then the organization will endeavor to repair the automotive component and return it to the customer in a timely manner.
- If tested and found to be faulty, then the organization will endeavor to repair the automotive component however, in the circumstance that the component cannot be repaired, then the organization will attempt to source a replacement unit. This may incur extra charges.
Fitting instructions
The organization may send out paperwork with your automotive component once the tested/repaired/replacement component is supplied. If these instructions are not followed correctly or if instructions are supplied and the correct working practices are not followed, the organization may choose to void the warranty given. Fitting instructions may include but are not limited to the following:
- Correct fitting procedure.
- Correct filling procedure.
- Correct programming/coding/adaption procedure.
- Voltage warning documents.
- Diagnosis and testing procedures.
- External cause warnings.
Our warranty is non-transferable and belongs to the owner of the repaired/replacement automotive component. This warranty will not transfer to a new owner in the circumstance the vehicle or automotive component is sold. In some cases, the organization may ask for proof of ownership for the organization to honor the warranty. This includes but is not limited to:
- Car dealerships.
- Main dealers.
- Sole traders.
- Other vehicle remanufacturers.
Our unlimited mileage lifetime warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights about defective products and is created, and changed at our sole discretion. this warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
In any event of a conflict between this warranty and our terms and conditions at the point of sale of any item, then this warranty will prevail.
